Vortex Healthcare is a South African based Pharmaceutical Company that has been established to offer a variety of unique products and services within the Healthcare Industry. 

Vortex Healthcare is approved by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority to import, export as well as manufacture medication in South Africa. It is also fully accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council  as well as The Department of Health. We are a black empowered BBBEE Level one Pharmaceutical company.
  The founders of Vortex Healthcare collectively have more than 50 years experience across various segments within the pharmaceutical and Healthcare Industry.This experience includes Manufacturing, Quality Control, Distribution, Private and Government hospital expertise as well as Regulatory and Marketing.

Our Company

The company specializes in licensing, registering and marketing of affordable pharmaceutical medication as well as medical devices. Vortex Healthcare also provides tailor made end to end solutions to meet the requirements of specific clients. Vortex Healthcare is a private company under the legal name Valotype 248 (PTY) LTD. The company is registered with Companies & Intellectual Property Commission – Registration Number: 2018/417207/07. The company is 100% black owned and is a BEE level 1 contributor. Our company is registered with the following local regulatory authorities:
• South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA/MCC)
• Department Of Health (DOH)
• South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
• South African Medical Device Association (SAMED)

Products and Services

As a Pharmaceutical company we provide various types of services to the Healthcare Industry. Some of these include the following:
 
  • Supply of various types of medication, such as Anti-Retroviral, Anti-Microbial, Oncology over the Counter Medication, Health supplements and Vitamins which are just part of a wider offering.
  • Vortex Healthcare also has a medical Device License, thus we can supply various types of Medical Devices such as HIV Test kits, Gloves, Syringes, surgical equipment, etc.
  • Supply of Pharmaceutical products such as medication and Medical devices to the private and Public sector as well as NGO’s.
  • Vortex Healthcare also specialises In-Licensing of dossiers from companies that have the necessary accreditations to satisfy our local Health Authorities such as SAHPRA.
  • Vortex Healthcare also enters into agreements with both local and international companies’ in order to introduce essential niche products into South Africa and greater Africa by holding of applicancy for those companies that are not registered with SAHPRA.
  • In essence Vortex Healthcare is in a position to provide tailor made services, as well as an end to end solution to different role players from various industries.
